PitchHU 5.0 - Cohort Timeline

  • PitchHU incubator v5.0 cohort ANNOUNCED

  • April 8th: Applications Open

    The application process to be considered for participation in the PitchHU incubator v5.0 cohort opens. There is no cost to participate in this virtual program.

  • May 29th: Applications Close

    This is the last date that we will accept submissions for the PitchHU incubator v5.0 cohort.

  • May 31st: Applications Evaluated

    Submitted applications will be evaluated in batches against the PitchHU requirements and decisions will be made by May 31st for v5.0 cohort launch in the following week and announcements to come.

  • PHASE 1: Coaching

    July 17th: Cohort Launches

    Accepted applicants will be invited to participate in our virtual cohort which will run over 6 weeks. Our asynchronous PitchHU education cohort contains 6 synchronous sessions that will be conducted weekly for 2-hr windows usually between 6pm and 8pm EST depending on our cohort composition.

  • PHASE 2: Subject Matter Experts Discussions

    These coaching sessions will be followed by subject matter expert sessions, where we will explore foundational areas related to IP protection, commercialization, building financial literacy, and early-stage capital concerns. This cohort, led by humble ventures with subject matter expert support from select Fiserv and Howard members, provides a foundation of entrepreneurial education and common language across cohort participants. We pair these sessions with self-guided asynchronous lessons that correspond to the topics discussed and help participants apply what they have learned to their ideas or businesses.

  • DEMO DAY

    week of September 9th: Pitch Competition & Demo Day

    We will conduct a virtual demo day in early September where cohort participants will pitch our judges panel. Each finalists will have 3 minutes and 3 slides to pitch their entries to a list of judges for up to $35K in prizes. Winners will be announced at Demo Day.
